Very confused with this pre-calc question...?

ok you need to remeber the trig funtions... which are sin 8 = x/y and sec8= y/x......................i cant remebr form the top of my head but jsut find that in ur notes or online... but what i can tell you is the reciprical of sin is sec... so jsut flip the fraction... cos recip is csc...and tan recip is cot..... jsut search on google "trigonometric funtions equations" or sumthin like that and your golden.. you jsut fill in the blanks and what you dong know you isolate the variable soo .....ex frum above... sin8=x/y.........y*sin8=x
