Do Tire Tread patterns have to match?

I just bought 4 alloys and tires to replace my old corroded alloys and bald tires (no good in snow!) i have received them and none of the tread patterns are the same (From scrap yard), but they are similar, does it matter that they are not identical? i think they are paired 2 front and 2 back, both pairing has similarity but all 4 are different patterns.....??
