Where are all of the Todd Solondz fans?

i've seen welcome to the dollhouse and happiness. i call myself weinerdog sometimes. i'm not a fan of his, but i appreciate his work and will give it a chance. it's just that, to me, his movies are depressing. i don't think the non-solondz movies you mentioned are pointless or predictable, just completely different from solondz's (and each other).
