How can I settle in india permanently with my british born wife and son?

I am Indian National,now UK resident, heading to british citizenship on spouse basis after 15jan 2010.My wife is british born .we have a ason british born with us.I want to settle permanently in India with my wife and son(may plan for one more).Should i take british citizenship or not?Should I remain Uk resident and indian national.Will my wife and son be allowed to settle in india with me ?i have read indian immigration website.there is no such provision or visa that allows foreign nationals to stay more than 6 months at one time..i do not understand then how do persons like Sonia gandhi and Tom alter have meade India their home?I need a professional answer as my life depends on professional advice.i want to settle india because british immigration didnt give my mother dependant visa ,which was genuine.Now I dont want her to be leftover there.Please help navdeep_monga2003@yahoo.com
