When to Get Rid of Pacifier?

I wasn't able to find anything that specifically stated an age and i wouldn't be surprised if there isnt a standard age set by pediatricians. I guess the best thing to do is just to ask your pediatrician. I know that i refused to have a 3 year old with a pacifier so right before my daughters third birthday i threw all of them in the trash. I told her the nunnie fairy came and took all of her pacifiers to give to the little babies that needed them and to replace them the fairy brought her a big girl toy. Instead of nunnies she had a princess scooter and she was very happy and proud to be a big girl!
