What is considered "shellfish" when one is allergic?

I've just started spending time with someone who is allergic to shellfish. I know he cannot eat shrimp or lobster, but I don't know much more. What else is encomped by "shellfish" when one is allergic to it? How about things like clams, scallops, oysters, etc. Thanks in advance for your help!
