How should I space a technical doent?

I'd recommend at least 1.5x or 1.7x line spacing. Make the font slightly smaller than you might normally do. The wide line spacing will still make it very readable, without taking up too many pages. Also, have top/bottom/left/right margins that are quite wide (at least an inch or 1.5), to allow for scribbles.
