Evils of industrialisation on the whole world?

I'm cuter... but um, I guess you're supposed to take the question apart and look at it that way... define evil first... define industrialisation... speculate as to the effects of industrialisation... particularly look at rapidly developing nations such as China for examples... you'll find great wealth and great poverty in the same place... and you could argue that every step towards total industrialisation is a step away from our origins and nature... is this a good thing? Do a little for and against... debate the issue... best of luck with that!
