Can i switch my locker?

so im in 7th grade and my school igned lockers in the beggining of the year, i am next to the people in my homeroom, most of them are bitchy or annoying. so i picked up my lock and put it on an empty locker, but its under the 8th grade category, my 2 8th grrade friends are next to me and i am tall so if a teacher who doesnt know me wont be able to tell the difference. so is there any possiblility of getting "in trouble" (wow feel retarted saying that) for doing it.
